Do Not Get Involved with Emerge. My situation is much the same as others I was issued a card by FNAFB many years ago. They dumped me on Emerge, that was when problems started. High Interest Rates of up 29.9 percent last notice. (final straw), Drop of charging priveledges at the drop of a dime once while we were on our way back from Vacation I couldn't pay for a hotel room with this card. It was paid up and current. I paid this Card off a couple of times!. This time it got cut up with the shredder and sent back:. I am done with em.. They suspended my Credit balance and charging priveleges after I made a 350 dollar on line payment that I expected to post the same day'. Of course it didn't/. I paid the 4/.95 fee for this service only to have it posted to the account 4 days later'. To *** with Emerge they are a sorry excuse for a Credit Card company do not get wrapped up in there craps period,. STAY AWAY

to contact emerge, and talk to a human, contact Compucredit (the co that owns emerge)@ 770-828-2000, at least they talk in english

11/10/10 just received a cancel all accounts letter from emerge been with them since the FLEET card days,,,same instance ,,sold off to emerge my rate jumped to 29.9 and I had never been late...MY RECOMMENDATION I got a new CHASE slate card transfered my balance ...the card has a 0% for 6 months thus depriving EMERGE of any more interest and extra fees
